Aspiring full stack Developer who is presently
using the latest technologies to create simple and fun U/X.
I enjoy acquiring new skills to become an efficient Developer
through personal/free lance projects and career opportunities.
I've always been good with computers but never gave a thought about working with them. Currently attempting to transition from a customer service role to a tech role by learning various technologies such as; HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Git etc. I've also taken various courses that give me an inside look at the industry standards such as design, collaboration, and best practices.
Some of my hobbies include running, camping, and of course coding. I love learning and just overall tinkering with tech.
Currently looking for a HTML Email Developer role while I increase my knowledge on more powerful tools like JavaScript, PHP, and the Terminal. The self taught route has been challenging, but with all the communities and resources out, it makes it fun and rewarding.
These are some of the basic and specialized skills I currently possess. Well versed with Email building and Email Marketing. Continuously upgarding skills by taking courses and building projects.
This project is a clone of a Fleet Fleet watch promotional Email. It was built using raw HTML and CSS. Using tables and the most common screen sizes for responsiveness. All Emails were tested by putsmail to ensure it renders the same on multiple ESP.
This Email was built using Mailjet Markup Language (MJML). This framework helps making developement simple and efficient by taking away the manual set up of tables and the content. The framework also takes care of some basic comments and code needed for rendering on more difficult ESP's. There is options to create components that will remain consistent and need no manipulation to focus more on components that will need constant change.
This Transactional Email was built with Foundation for Emails framework. By far my favorite framework as it takes the hassel out of previewing the current building process and how it will render on the Email service provider. There is options for creating layouts, adding data for replicated sections, and also taking care of all comments and codes needed for difficult ESP's.
A Wordpress clothing store site. I'm able to add pages, media, and edit the full site. I will be able to add features with paid plugins such as woocommerce, yoast and many more. Plugins will enable me to manage products, discount codes, inventory, etc. Some CMS dont require upgrade before accessing some of the features such as Shopify.
This is a clone of an agency landing page found off of Dribbble. I was able to use basic HTML and CSS. Sass was used to creat the main CSS styles. Currently still working on adding a couple more sections to complete the landing page. This project is being hosted on Github pages and I am currently working on my terminal to make all pushes and changes.
At the moment there is very little in my GitHub but some test and the couple projects I've started. I love the way it tracks the workflow and looking forward to see the way Git allows collaboration in the work environment. Will look into possible Open source projects to collaborate with in the near future.
Please feel free to reach out to me via any of the provided contact info or utilize the form, to set up a time that is best to explore the various avenues I can be an asset to the team. Thank you for your time and for making it this far!
